Praise the Purple Pandas!
Hi Noxcrew community!
Did you enjoy the MC Championship event last week? We certainly did!
A huge congratulations to our inaugural MC Champions Team Purple Pandas who clawed their way to victory and brought the contest down to the last arrow in an extremely close fight with the Lime Llamas (I swear that team name is blessed or something, they won in testing as well!)
To tell the truth, it was a really close show, far closer than we’ve ever seen it, with positions changing every round! It really did come down to the last game, so massive props to all the teams involved for giving it their all and making it a joy to watch!
A huge thank you as well to everyone involved, from the MCC team who put so much work into making the event work flawlessly, to DangThatsaLongName and Cupquake for helping us set this up. To all the players who made it a brilliant night, all our amazing testers who helped us make this the best event we could and everyone who watched it and offered feedback or just had fun watching with us. We’re so glad that people enjoyed it and can’t wait to do it all over again.
Not sure when the next event will be but keep an eye on the MC Championship Twitter and on the Noxcrew Discord to stay up to date with the next event or the next round of testing!.
While all that’s been going on, DvD has been moving along nicely after a shaky start. The team has been going over the map’s tutorialistation this week, redesigning hubs, organising pathing and generally making things clearer for the player once they’re in the thick of the action. Those sweet little sounds are also still being added with the tech team working hard to make sure they line up with all of the other cool mechanics we have going on!
We’re hoping to have a fully testable map ready pretty soon. Hopefully in time for the big Winter Noxmeet!
Yup, we’re getting the band back together again at the beginning of December for an exciting pow wow full of shenanigans! We’ve got a lot of fun things planned, including the very first Noxcrew Secret Santa so I’ll try and keep you up to date with all the crazy happenings (and if we actually do anything productive) as and when I can!
Finally our super secret project is soon to be unleashed on the world! Look to twitter and the marketplace in the next couple of hours (yes I said hours it really is that close) to see what we’ve been working on since May! I don’t think you’re gonna want to miss it :)
