Love Pets: R.I.D guide
Hidden throughout the town of Sunrise Valley there are hidden secrets waiting to be discovered by you and your perfect pets! Robot Input Devices (R.I.Ds), were set up by the robot citizens of Sunrise Valley to hide some of their fanciest clothes and costumes for you to find and enjoy.
All you need to do is bring the right pet to the right screen, perform the right trick, and the path will be unlocked, either by creating an opening, activating a machine or unlocking a puzzle for you to complete! In this guide, we’ll show you where all of the R.I.D machines are lurking in the world and which sort of fuzzy friend you’ll need to unlock them.
Town
R.I.D Challenge 1
Co-ordinates: 321, 21, 198
Animal Type: Four-legged
Trick: Roll over
Reward: Goggles
Located inside the pink and blue house next to the Fashion Store, performing the trick will open a slime pad in the house’s back garden. Use the slime to parkour to the upper balcony where the reward is hiding inside the attic!

Reward: Crown
Located next to the Town Hall, next to the incubator building, performing the trick will activate a fan. Riding it will bring you to a parkour section going up the Town Hall’s tower. The reward, and a beautiful view of Sunrise Valley, awaits at the top of the tower.

Reward: Plague doctor hat
Located in the barn at the back of the vets, performing the trick will open the gate on the right, allowing you to enter. As the gate closes it opens the gate blocking access to the prize. To escape parkour up and over the chain-link gate using the conveniently placed boxes.

Located in front of the status of the robot by the school, performing the trick causes several platforms to rise up, creating a path to the prize.
Swamp
R.I.D Challenge 1

Located in one of the cabins in the swamp, performing the trick will open a hatch in the floor revealing a hidden witch hut under the cabin. The reward is nestled inside. Swim up the shower in the hut to escape back to the surface.

Located in front of a cliff next to the cabins, performing the trick will activate tears in the rocks for you to cross to get to the prize.

Located in the swamp to the right of the bridge, performing the trick opens a hatch in the swamp leading to an underground facility. The prize floats right in front of you, with a cave system to the left of it which will lead you back to the surface.

Located in the swamp behind the giant fairy tree, performing the trick causes a geyser of water to shoot up, allowing you to reach the prize hanging in the tree.

Located in a cave at the edge of town, behind the pink house, performing the trick will open the flood gates, allowing water to flow into the bucket and open the gate to the rewards. Following the tunnel behind the reward up and around will return you to the main cave.

Located to the left of the docks, performing the trick will cause the leaves of the tree to decay, revealing the reward. Climb the branches of the tree to escape back to the swamp.

Reward: Captain hat
Located by the bridge, performing the trick will activate a sprint pad on the bridge and open the door of the pink locked cabin. Run as fast as you can and collect the prize before the door closes, using the pressure plate to leave the hut once you’ve done so.

Reward: Attention hat
Located at the docks, this challenge requires coordination between two different types of pets. Activate the water R.I.D to cause a geyser to shoot out of the lake, then activate the winged R.I.D to start the fan. Using both, scale the cliff and collect your prize!

Trick: Roll over, dance and speak
Reward: Pirate hat
Located on the island in the centre of the lake, this challenge requires you and your pet to activate three R.I.D stations in a short amount of time to open three floodgates and power the device in the centre of the island. As quickly as you can, activate all three stations and open the door of the storage cube. Leave by climbing the ladder.
Mesa

Located in a cave in the Mesa cliffs, performing the trick causes sand to drop from the ceiling, creating a parkour path to reach the prize.

Located in a cave in one of the standing rocks in the mesa, performing the trick causes a sand block to drop from the ceiling into the puzzle. Use the slime pistons to pull the block through the puzzle and open the door!

Located across the cliff face behind the bunny cafe, performing the trick lowers a portion of the cliff allowing you to parkour across to the prize.

Located on the cliff next to the upside-down house, performing the trick opens up a combination lock and opens the pillars to show the answer. Inputting the right colour combinations opens the dam, letting water flow towards the flower, which blooms revealing the prize.

Located at a campsite behind the Mesa ranch, performing the trick opens a forgotten mine shaft in the cliff leading to a hidden tomb with the prize inside.

Trick: Roll over
Reward: Top hat
Located next to the waterfall, performing the trick causes stone pillars to rise up and the cave entrance behind the waterfall to open up. Use the pillars to parkour up to the cliff and collect the reward. Follow the cave up to a platform above the waterfall to return to the world.

Located behind the Mesa ranch, over the stepping stones across the river, performing the trick activates a sprint pad allowing the player to make a five-block jump over the ravine and into the abandoned mine shaft where the reward is hiding.

Located in the cliff face, this challenge requires coordination between two different types of pets. Activate the desert R.I.D to open the door and reveal the second RID. Head inside the cave and then activate the winged R.I.D to start the fan. Using the tunnel leading up, escape the cave and use the fan to scale the cliff and collect your prize!

Located across the sky bridges over the ravine, this challenge requires coordination between two different types of pets. Activate the water R.I.D to cause geysers of water to shoot up allowing you to parkour to the second RID. Activate the desert R.I.D to activate a sprint pad allowing the player to parkour over the ravine to where the reward is hiding.
Rocky Cliffs

Located on the rocks overlooking the town, performing the trick activates two fans which allows you to float across to the prize.

Located behind the schoolhouse, performing the trick lowers a blue platform and activates a fan on the roof, allowing you to parkour to the prize in the school’s bell tower.

Located in the windmill, performing the trick causes the blades of the windmill to rotate, opening up a hole for you to jump through and reach the reward inside.

Located behind the windmill, performing the trick causes the fence to break, dropping gravel that allows you to get up to the upper plateau. From there, parkour across the rock pillars to reach the prize.

Located on the cliff face next to a spruce tree, performing the trick activate pistons in the rock, pushing sections of rock out of the cliff to create platforms to parkour across to reach your reward.

Located next to the frozen waterfall, performing the trick activates a piston in the rock, causing a platform to jut out for you to land on after parkouring up the cliff, leading to a cave with the reward inside.

Located next to the Bunny Café, performing the trick activates a sprint pad on the rocks and open a blast door on the other side of the ravine. Run as fast as you can and collect the prize before the door closes, following the tracks to a tunnel that leads you back out into the ravine.

Reward: Monocle
Located in the ravine, this challenge requires coordination between 2 different types of pets. Activate the water R.I.D to drain the pools of water revealing slime pads. Use them to bounce up onto the stone pillars and flick the 4 levers, opening the blast door and revealing the 2nd R.I.D terminal. Activating the four-legged R.I.D activates 3 platforms to rise up allowing you to reach the prize on the scaffolding above!

Located at the cliffs behind the schoolhouse, this challenge requires coordination between two different types of pets. Activate the winged R.I.D to start the fan and ride it up the cliff to reach the frozen cave. Inside you’ll find your prize trapped inside a frozen heart, Activate the three Furry R.I.D to turn on the heaters and melt the heart.
Forest

Located in a clearing next to the spa, performing the trick causes the trees to open in sequence, revealing the order in which to press the buttons on the panel. Inputting the right combination causes the platform with the prize to lower from the canopy.

Located in a clearing deep in the forest, performing the trick raises the grave heads. Look underneath the dirt for the lever that unlocks the door of the house where the prize is hiding.

Located under a hill under the campsite, performing the trick opens the blast hatch, revealing a cave and the reward. Follow the cave around to return to the surface.

Located in the trees behind the mill house, performing the trick causes platforms to rise up from the ground and hang from the branches of the tree, creating a path for you to parkour up to the prize.

Located in the trees next to the giant fallen, performing the trick causes a section of the fallen tree to lift up, revealing a path into the caves below and the reward. Follow the tunnel back to the surface.

Reward: Fancy beret
Located at the cliffs behind the spa, this challenge requires coordination between two different types of pets. Activate the winged R.I.D to start the fans then run to the night R.I.D and activate that to open the blast doors in the roof. Ride up the fans to reach the top of the cliff and the prize!
R.I.D Challenge 9
Co-ordinates: 460, 31, 219 and 455, 39, 188
Animal Type: Water and night-time
Trick: Play dead and dance
Reward: Straw hat
Located at the cliffs behind the rocket launchpad, this challenge requires coordination between two different types of pets. Activate the water R.I.D to make the flowers grow into platforms that can be used to scale the cliff and reach the second R.I.D terminal. Activate the night-time R.I.D to open the chain link fence in the tree and activate a sprint pad. Use the pad to run to the tree as fast as you can before the gate closes. Use the ladder to climb the tree and escape!
