Dapper flamingos and uplifting elevators

Hi Noxcrew community!

It’s been wet and wild in the UK this week, but it’s smooth sailing here at Noxcrew HQ!

Mega Moustache Tales has taken its next step towards completion by being converted to Bedrock! Thanks to this we’ve polishing up the areas of the map we couldn’t sort out in Java in case it converted  strangely. We’ve also been cleaning up textures and generally getting things ready for the mechanics teams to swoop in and hook everything up. We’ve also started adding in some of the amazing entities that the art team have cooked up and they are honestly insane! I mean look at this flamingo, he’s so dapper!

There's been some uplifting work done over on Codename: Cow, with Avondale installing over 20 elevators throughout the map (he told me to say that, FYI)! Jokes aside, there’s been a lot of work on the mechanics side of Codename: Cow this week, finishing off the quests, hiding collectables, squashing bugs we’ve found along the way and generally making it all shiny and chrome. Still no word on when she’ll be ready for a big tryout, but I don’t doubt it’ll be sometime soon.

Finally, as we gear up for MCC 3, tests have gotten underway over on the Noxcrew Discord, this time making sure that everything still works properly now that we’ve upgraded to 1.15. We had a big 40 person test on Wednesday which sounds like it was super competitive! There were a few bugs picked up on, but nothing game-breaking so things are looking good! (We’ve already removed the part in Footrace where Sparkles got stuck, don’t worry)

There should be more tests being organised in the run-up to March 14th just to make absolutely sure everything runs smoothly, maybe we’ll even add a new game if we can get things sorted in time so head over to noxcrew.com/discord and sign up to the testing team for your chance to play it before the Youtubers do!

Speaking of the next event, the teams are still being organised by the wonderful Dangthatsalongname, and will announced closer to the time, but until then enjoy the stupid videos from the last event over on the MCC Twitter! (I’m quite proud of that Red Team Survival Game one, I won’t lie)

And that’s your lot!

February might have flown by but March is gearing up to be an exciting month!

Until next time, have a great week!
