All hail the Aqua Horses!

 

Hi Noxcrew community!

Did you enjoy MC Championship 2? We certainly did! 

A huge congratulations to our new MC Champion team Aqua Horse who comfortably toppled the Cyan Creepers 2:0 in Dodgebolt after an intense 4 way battle for the top spot with the Orange Ocelots and the Red Rabbits!

MCC 2 was an incredible event which ran so smoothly we hardly had to fix anything, save for 2 minor issues. (that clutch pausing by Noxite on Survival games though) Thanks to everyone who took part in the event on the night and all our brilliant testers for helping us smooth out all the kinks. We hope you all enjoyed watching these events as much as we do making them ‘ cause it’s only gonna get better from here!

The next event is in the works and will be hitting your screens on March 14th! Yes it’s that soon so put it in your calendar and don’t miss out!

Something else that will be arriving soon is Destructobot vs Dinosaurs! To our surprise and delight, DvD cleared the review phase with very little fuss and is free to be released into the wild! We didn’t think it would clear so quickly, we didn’t even have the trailer ready! Thankfully our amazing ambassadors were on hand to help us film one in record time so expect to see that in the near future!

Codename: Cow is motoring along with the map borderline testable! That doesn’t mean its balanced or anywhere near release, but it's nice to have maps at a point where everything is coming together and we have something to show for it. Of course, even though we’re trying not to ‘feature creep’ in our maps at the moment, (aka trying to not put all our toys in one basket) I’ve heard the boys are messing around with an experiment for some of the entities. Some things never change here at Noxcrew, no matter how hard we try.

Finally Mega Moustache Tales’ builds are almost done and we’re due for Bedrock conversion in the next few days! (The builders really got their teeth into this one!) There was one minor change made in the week, with one of the buildings being ripped out and replaced with another as the team weren’t happy with the aesthetic, but beyond that it’s looking like a finished map after only 3 weeks of work (incredible) The art team have also been on fire, with 3 texture updates in the week and the team well into their entity list (I took a peak and it blows my mind how good they are!) Just a few more finishing touches and we’ll be ready to go!
