Wacky Tiles
Wacky tiles unlock weird and wonderful rooms that make Grid Runners Pro even more fun, and even a little bit ridiculous!
Arrow tile
Unlocks: Chicken Falls
Co-ordinates: 461, 142, 376
Ah, the humble chicken. A beloved part of Noxcrew history, the deciders of fate for MCC and Noxcrew Gameshow contestants alike. Head over to the mini Decision Dome in the Gameshow section of the lobby and parkour up the glowstone lamps hanging from the chicken’s wings to the green platform, once home to the deadly Butcher!
Enter the butcher’s lair, parkour to the upper platform then jump onto the chicken’s back to find the arrow tile!
Bread tile
Unlocks: Noxcrew Credits
Co-ordinates: 507, 152, 325
Oh, those Noxcrew. They’ll never pass up an opportunity to put their names on everything, even into race rooms!
To unlock the credits room for Grid Runners Pro and stroke their egos, parkour up to the ‘O’ of the Noxcrew sign hanging over the door to the trophy room. There you’ll find the iconic Noxcrew button and the bread tile.
Chorus fruit tile
Unlocks: Park the Cars
Co-ordinates: 359, 122, 280
It can be a maze in the big city, but this one’s pretty straightforward. Jump onto the GRP rail track in the City section of the lobby. Follow it around into a dark ventilation shaft. Follow the shaft until you fall onto the city streets and the chorus fruit tile.
Open the car park door to leave the streets and drive around the lobby in the tiny cars inside— they’re so cute!
Dandelion tile
Unlocks: Pin the Tail
Co-ordinates: 416, 122, 227
All praise the golden donkey, keeper of flowers and ruler of the secret cave!
In the food court area of the lobby, head through the waterfall and into a cave full of beautiful flowers! From there, jump into the donkey’s mouth to claim the dandelion tile. Don’t worry he won’t eat you!
Egg tile
Unlocks: Defeat the Mimics
Co-ordinates: 451, 147, 299
Eggs, a tasty and nutritious meal as well as a fantastic decision-making tool!
To claim this future MCC vote, follow the GRP rail track towards the underside of the balcony just in front of the Noxcrew sign next to the big tree. From there, jump to the platform on the left of the track and parkour to the upper balcony using the plants in front of you. The egg tile is hiding on top of some boxes, next to some cute little bushes.
Elytra tile
Unlocks: Vertical Grid Runners
Co-ordinates: 379, 83, 323
Ever wondered where we store all of the Grid Runner rooms when they’re not being demolished by speedrunners? In the GRP Course warehouse of course!
Follow the GRP Rail Track by the time boards in the Trophy Room into the dark depths of the GRP factory! From there head to the left blast doors and find the inverted Grid Runner track featuring iconic rooms from the Original Grid Runners track, except tipped on their head!
Parkour up the track to find the Elytra Tile at the very top and unlock the map for future use!
I’m sure the Speedrun team are gonna love this one!
Heart of the Sea tile
Unlocks: Buildy Battle
Co-ordinates: 379, 130, 367
Buildy is the beloved (and slightly creepy) mascot of Noxcrew’s Creative Toolbox series and they’ve popped by to give you some exciting build challenges!
To find the Heart of the Sea tile, head to the Dungeon section of the lobby and completely the parkour within to reach the tallest tower at the centre of the room. There you’ll find your prize, and Buildy themself! Don’t forget to grab a selfie with them.
Lapis lazuli tile
Unlocks: Sprint - Boost Pads
Co-ordinates: 340, 128, 355
It’s always nice to get a boost every now and again. To get the lapis lazuli sprint tile and add a little pep in your step, head through the right doorway from the course selector into the lobby and jump into the bushes with the jump pad hiding in it.
Go through the doorway next to the jump pad into the pipe and follow it until you reach a collection of orange pipes. Follow them down into the bowels of the facility and towards a giant mass of yellow pipes. Jump inside and complete the parkour to reach the pipe at the very top left of the chaos and the chest inside!
Pickaxe tile
Unlocks: Speed Lights
Co-ordinates: 552, 112, 336
It’s always so rewarding to build up your skills… Get it… Because it’s a pickaxe…
Anyway, head to the Trophy room and enter the doorways to the left or right of the time board. Climb up behind the scenes to find the pickaxe tile right at the very top! You’ll be the pick of the crop! Okay, I’ll stop…
Quartz tile
Unlocks: Escher's Room
Co-ordinates: 424, 126, 409
Have you ever looked in the mirror and wondered which was the real world and which was the reflection? No? Well, the mirror is the reality in this trippy puzzle to unlock the quartz tile!
In the Mesa section of the lobby, parkour up to the crank above the area to raise the blue glass panel then move the blocks on the chessboard to create a path up to the chest that contains the quartz tile. Remember, the mirror is reality.
Redstone tile
Unlocks: Sprint - Cars
Co-ordinates: 454, 115, 295
Want to cross the finish line in style? Well, now you can with the redstone sprint tile!
To find it, head to the hidden pathway under the red and white covering in the GRP Course warehouse. Follow it into a massive vertical maintenance shaft full of pipes and jump pads. Complete the parkour up the shaft to a red doorway with a jump pad at the end. Use the pad and voila, the redstone tile is yours. Exit through the iron doors to step out onto the GRP mini-race track! Just don’t get run over!
Shulker Shell tile
Unlocks: Several Teleport Pads
Co-ordinates: 393, 86, 395
To find this tricky teleportation tile, head to the GRP course warehouse as detailed in the elytra tile walkthrough and head for the blue and yellow teleportation tubes. Head through the door behind the tubes and parkour up the maintenance shaft to find the shulker shell tile hiding in the broken yellow tube.
This is just one way to get there though, can you find the others?
Costumes
What could be more amusing than running our super serious Championship Courses dressed as a chicken or a dinosaur? Not much.
Robot
Co-ordinates: 469, 69, 367
There’s just something so funny about seeing a big clunky robot trying to run courses really quickly. You can recreate this comedy genius by finding the robot costume!
In the GRP course warehouse, parkour up the storage boxes to the cyan and yellow tube with the letter H on the side by the right blast door. Flick the lever and open the door to the little lonely robot costume.
Dino
Co-ordinates: 375. 95, 410
I’m sure the employees of GRP won’t mind if you go snooping just this once.
To get the dino costume, head to the employees only lounge in the back of the Dungeon section of the lobby and head down the obviously broken elevator into the hidden entrance to the GRP facility. From there, head right into the kitchen and complete the ice parkour in the freezer to reach the dino costume! Let’s hope you don’t get a frosty reaction for finding this one…
Fish Face
Co-ordinates: 424, 107, 295
Hopefully you’re not afraid of swimming cause you’re gonna have to get wet if you want this aquatic apparatus. From the course selector, head through the right doorway into the lobby and jump into the bushes with the jump pad hiding in it. Go through the doorway next to the jump pad and follow the pipe around until you reach a collection of orange pipes.
Follow them down into the bowels of the facility, turn right again and parkour to the orange balcony, then go through the doorway into the water processing facility. Head up the waterfall into the pool under the food court. Go forward into the orange room to unlock to fish face Costume!
Chicken
Co-ordinates: 464, 122, 292
This fabulous Chicken Costume is unlocked by achieving Gold rank in all Championship Courses!
Just make sure a stray MCC Contestant doesn’t see you wearing that or they might try to throw you at another team!
