City Living 2: things to do

The world of City Living 2 is big. Like, really really big. With a whole city to explore, multiple jobs to try out, vehicles to drive, and places to visit it can be really overwhelming!

But life isn’t just about work or your job, it’s about having fun and making the most out of the time you have. And to help you enjoy it here’s a list of things you can get up to in the big wide world of City Living 2!

Own a pet

Key places: pet store

Life in the big city can be kinda lonely, so why not get a furry (or slithery) new friend and adopt an animal companion today!

With dogs, cats, snakes, iguanas, fish and tarantulas for sale, head to the Pet Store and find your newest friend today! You can train them using their specific pet food and even buy toys and kennels for them to live in!

Renovate a house

Key places: any building with a yellow exclamation mark

All over the city, there are buildings sitting empty, sitting abandoned, or in utter disrepair. They need someone to get in there and fix the place up, to bring them back to life! Can you be that person?

Look for the yellow exclamation marks outside of buildings with requests from the owners on how they’d like you to improve their building. Take their advice or do your own thing, the only limit is your imagination… and sense of style.

Go to a restaurant

Key places: sports bar, hipster bar, and classy restaurant

Sometimes it’s nice to have someone else cook for you, so you can enjoy a relaxing meal in a calm and sophisticated environment… or shout and holler with fellow sports fans in the local sports bar!

There are plenty of restaurants throughout the world of City Living 2 for you to grab a bite, relax and let the world pass you by in whatever sort of environment you want. There’s even a vegan restaurant!

Visit the museum

Key Places: museum

Culture is a key part of any city experience. Knowing the past is a good way to guide your future. So why not explore the past, present and future of City Living 2 by visiting the local museum!

Full of beautiful art created by the top artists of the city, exotic animals and recreations of days long past, the museum is a beautiful place to absorb the wonders of history and nature. Museums are also a great place for a date ‘cause it makes you look thoughtful and sophisticated and stuff.

Take part in a bike race

Key places: race track, rock climbing wall

Want to get out into the fresh air, to feel the wind in your face, the thrill of speeding down a mountain? Well, get yourself to the mountain top chateau, where you can hire out top-of-the-range mountain bikes and test your speed, and your nerves, as you race down to the town below.

With different winding paths with different difficulties, it’s a guaranteed thrill ride every time you take to the track! Not one for cycling? That’s ok, there’s also a rock wall for you to practice your parkour skills on, though it’s quite a drop so be careful.

Go bowling

Key places: Bowling alley

Fancy an exciting day out with your friends? Why not hit the bowling alley! With four aisles to play on, pool and air hockey tables, a chilled-out bar and no hideous shoe rental area, the bowling alley is the perfect place to hang out and have a good time.

To play, just purchase a bowling ball from the vendor, place it on the line and punch it towards the pins! What could be easier?!

Go shopping

Key places: the mall, furniture stores, car showrooms

Sometimes you just need a little bit of retail therapy to make everything seem alright with the world. To change up your style, buy that new keyboard you were thinking about or just browse the aisles and think about what you’ll be able to buy one day when you’re rich and famous.

Recreate that feeling in the multitude of shops throughout City Living 2. From tech shops to furniture stores, to car showrooms, you can buy anything you want… so long as you can afford it.

Play golf

Key places: golfing green

Mark Twain once said that Golf is “…a good walk spoiled” but he never had disk golf! Rent a disk and a golf cart from the trusty vendor and you're on your way! Throw the disk, pick it up from where it lands and repeat until you reach the net!

With 9 courses, each with 2 different starting greens, except for the first hole, you can play as hard or as easy a game as you like all while taking in the beauty of the golfing green. And when you’re done, you can head back to the lodge to sit and relax by the fire and compare swings or whatever it is that golfers talk about.

Visit the Renaissance Faire

Key places: the Renaissance Faire

Celebrating a by-gone age, the Renaissance Faire brings to life all the excitement and chivalry of the medieval period without any of the war or plague.

Take part in fun and exciting mini-games and win cool plushie prizes or joust with your friends and try to knock them off their horses!

Drive a bus

Key places: Bus Station

It takes a lot to keep the buses running on time. It takes a dedicated team to get things moving and people to where they need to be! It might not pay well… in fact, it doesn’t pay at all, but it’s a noble profession, helping the people of the city commute to work and see the sights without costing them the earth.

All you need to do is hop in and get driving. There are bus stops and bus routes to guide you of course, but so long as people vaguely get to where they need to go, does it really matter?
