MCC: new Discord announced

Hi Noxcrew community!

The first blog post in this fantastic new format and of course we’re talking about the MC Championship!

We’re a week away from MCC5 and the boys are hard at it making sure that everything’s ready for the next event.

Work is underway on our newest game, which we’ll be announcing very soon! I know Nox has been teasing you about what it is, but I think you’ll enjoy the reveal! In the meantime, we’ve been putting the poor guy through the wringer, with a big internal test set on Wednesday running through the game to make sure everything is working as we intended. It’s still just a rough draft of a game so we picked up on lots of things to fix, but we’re confident that we’ll have it ready for the game test scheduled for today!

The new game’s not the only thing being worked on mind, there have been various other updates made throughout the show, such as fixes to the death messages in Skyblockle, Hole in the Wall and Parkour Warriors and other quality of life updates We’ve also finally ‘fixed’ the elevator after locking it off in MCC4 for maintenance so hopefully, those naughty YouTubers will read the signs this time and keep off it. Don’t want them to break it again...

Finally, we’ve decided that while the Noxcrew Discord was a lovely home for MCC and a great place to run the tests, the MCC testers have rather outgrown our lovely little home and need a new place to spread their wings and talk about hotdogs and whatever else (honestly the threads of your conversations lose me sometimes). 

So we’ve decided to set up a new Discord, completely dedicated to MCC! It’s the place to be to chat about the events, cheer on your favourite teams and even become an MCC tester! 

Overlooking everything is C.O.B: the Championship Organiser Bot, who’s kindly taken over tester organising duties, talking you through the process of becoming an MCC tester, organising test events and even setting up the teams! He’s incredible!
