Arctic landscapes & applications!
Hello Noxcrew community!
Well it seems like spring has finally decided to arrive and warm things up a bit, which is lovely!
As if spurred on by this delightful change of weather, ‘InterestinglyFreakyWomen’ has stormed forward, finally breaking out of Java and is well on its’ way to completing bedrock development so we can move on to testing. Unfortunately we’re a little behind schedule, so it won’t be sent off to Microsoft before Noxite, Avondale, Andrej and Lauren go on holiday, but we’re happy with how things are turning out. Give it another week and we should be ready to go!
But now that it’s one step closer to you guys, I think can reveal a little bit about what the map’s going to be about. ‘InterestinglyFreakyWomen’ is an adventure map set in the frozen wastes of the Arctic. You play an engineer exploring an abandoned facility, trying to restore power all while trying to find out what happened to the base, its’ staff and its’ enigmatic leader.
Oh and you might just meet a few familiar faces along the way ;)
With that tantilising little titbit dangled in front of you, let's follow up with a very quick update on City Living! After an awfully long time being tested for bugs and monsters - it is a very big map after all, there could be anything hidden in there - City Living has finally been cleared for release! The map goes live on the 19th of March 2019, so keep your eye out for it then :D
Finally, and possibly the most exciting bit of news this week is the announcement that we are reopening applications for positions at Noxcrew!
We’re looking for a full time builder/ level designer with experience in building on both Java and Bedrock editions of Minecraft to work alongside our incredible build team and help us build our incredible creations! You can submit your portfolios at noxcrew.com/careers. Please make sure to check the requirements and good luck!
Have a great week and I look forward to seeing your applications!
