What are the peaceful Minecraft mobs?

The world of Minecraft is filled with creatures and monsters that makes the world exciting and interesting, as well as giving the players friends and foes to fight with. These mobile creatures, better known as mobs, have different uses, behaviours and reactions to players, depending on if they are peaceful, neutral, or hostile. They can also provide materials and food which can help players advance through the world.

The following mobs are all peaceful, being unaffected or even fearful of approaching players. These mobs flee from attackers if injured and never cause direct harm to players. Some can be tamed or used to help players in their adventures, while others exist only to add life and interest to the world.
