Find the place that suits your style, fix it up and make it your own; there’s a mansion for every taste!

Chateau

Co-ordinates: 35, -5, 881

Key features: Spawn area, Map Information, Library

The first place you’ll visit in Winter, the Chateau and adjoining courtyard gives you all the information you need about the world, with the library inside adding more insight into the blocks, furniture and vehicles you can use throughout the area.

You also receive your first series of build tasks in this area, as a library should be cosy and inviting, not left so barren and empty.

Gadget Warehouse

Co-ordinates: Via Smart Phone

Key features: Vehicles, NPC’s, Arcade Machines, Pets

Accessible only via the Fast Travel app on your Smart Phone, the Gadget Warehouse houses all the fun gadgets, vehicles, pets and NPCs you have at your disposal in Winter, giving you an overview of what you can bring into and use in this world.

Furniture Warehouse

Co-ordinates: Via Smart Phone

Key features: All available Furniture

Accessible only via the Fast Travel app on your Smart Phone, the Furniture Warehouse houses all the different styles of furniture you can use in Winter, laying them out so you can see what might work and what might not, giving you access to decorate this world however you like

Block Warehouse

Co-ordinates: Via Smart Phone

Key features: All available blocks

Accessible only via the Fast Travel app on your Smart Phone, the Block Warehouse houses all the different blocks in Winter that can be used for flooring, wallpaper, buildings; anything you want to build!

It also houses survival blocks such as ores, so you know what to look for when you want to go mining.

Castle Mansion

Co-ordinates: 153, 2, 888

Key features: Baroque aesthetics, Hedge Garden, Garage, Build Requests

Based on the beautiful mountain fortresses of Germany and looking like a castle from a fairytale, the Castle Mansion screams history and mystery. Balanced between delicate and sturdy and full of glorious Baroque furniture, the castle feels just as much a home as a living, breathing monument to the past.

Not that living there means you’re living a medieval life, with the castle being updated to include all the modern luxuries as well as serene sitting places to look down over the valley from the mountain’s height. You just might need to re-organise some of the rooms; that historical furniture is heavy!

Log Cabin Mansion

Co-ordinates: 247, -32, 996

Rugged, rustic and 100% natural, the Log Cabin mansion is the pinnacle of off-the-grid living. Found in the heart of the forest and made completely out of local wood and natural fabrics, it’s a sustainable dream, being warm and inviting without all the pretension of modern buildings.

But even with its back-to-nature aesthetic, it still has all the modern amenities you need to be comfortable, even if it lacks some of the more connected devices.

Could do with a treehouse, though. Who didn’t want a treehouse when they were growing up?

Resort Mansion

Co-ordinates: 112, 5, 1022

The Resort mansion, situated in a nook in the mountains, surrounded by towering spruce trees and untouched snow, is a product of nature and nurture, taking the rugged beauty of the landscape and forming it into an elegant, modern home full of heritage and heart.

Its interior also finds that balance between rustic and modern, with heavy use of dark woods and rough stone, next to smooth frosted glass and colourful tiled and carpeted flooring. It lacks a few amenities after the blizzard, but with a little love and care, this could be a cosy haven from the cold.

A greenhouse could also be nice, grow some lovely flowers and brighten up this chilly wonderland.

Observatory Mansion

Co-ordinates: 267, 14, 771

Perched on a high hill in the centre of the valley, the Observatory is a secluded cloister for scientific and academic learning, full of the latest technology in both luxury and the study of the stars.

With both historic and modern leanings, the mansion reflects the forward-thinking nature of its owner while also recognising the teachings of the past, with an austere aesthetic full of technology and bleak stone and brick, soothed by the softness of historic furnishings and fabrics.

Might be nice to add a new tower, though; there’s never enough space when it comes to scientific discovery!

Cliff Side Mansion

Co-ordinates: 77, 24, 685

Key features: Modern Aesthetic, Build Requests

Exceptionally stark and imposing, this mansion buried into the cliffs and overlooking the entire valley could be mistaken for a villain’s home in some crazy action film. But inside, it is the peak of modern fashion, blending the natural rugged stone with abstract shapes and colours to create a minimalist yet sophisticated aesthetic.

That said, it doesn’t stop the wolves from getting in…literally. The library is in tatters! Might want to do something about that.

Lake House Mansion

Co-ordinates: 427, -39, 869

Key features: Eco-Modern Aesthetic, Helipad, Docks, Build Request

For those who love the environment and have a very green thumb, the Lake House has an expansive garden, a verdant roof and a dock right onto the water, incorporating itself into the environment of the valley without being too intrusive or disruptive.

That doesn’t mean it’s all rustic living. Naturally powered, the house is full of luxuries such as swimming pools, games rooms, multiple bedrooms and even an indoor garden complete with local spruce trees.

The garage and the garden could do with a clean up though, things have gone maybe a little too wild.

Ski-Lodge Mansion

Key features: Scandinavian-Modern Aesthetic, Build Requests

Situated in the heart of the mountain, surrounded by the snowy slopes beloved of skiers and snowmobile enthusiasts, what could have been a damp, chilly lodge has been transformed into a modern haven filled with warmth and comforts of home.

With delightful saunas and hot tubs to warm you up after a run on the slopes, an open seating plan to chat about your adventures and warm, cosy rooms overlooking the mountain to rest your head in, its the ideal place to hang out after a day exploring the wonders of nature.
