“The Gingerbread Pirates”
Pirate Steve

It all started when I was a young man, barely out of Pirate High School and I had heard a rumour about trees of gold. It goes like this:

I sailed the seven seas
Searching for golden leaves
But what I found instead
Left me out of breath
ARR HARR, HEY
A GINGERBREAD CASTLE ON A HILL

Behind the ginger doors
Were cookies young and old
Walking around like men
Made out of Gingerbread

ARR HARR, HEY
We drank, and talked, and ate, AND SANG!

But after dark I went out
And stumbled down the lanes

I felt a growl in my gut
And ate everything in sight

I ate their tables and their walls
The gates, the doors, their halls

I ate the throne and their flags
I left nothing at all behind!

ARR HAR, HEY
I left their houses in a ruin

The Gingerbreads were lost
Vagabonds in the winds

Their homes were gone
With nothing left to call
Their own. They made
Boats of candy cane
They became the feared
Pirates of the seas who sought revenge

They held an anger in their hearts,
For meeeee, their only enemy

“The Giant Snow Monkey”
Red

Hit it monkey!

Arr, Now I’m about to tell ye the story of I and the giant snow monkey
I took his money in a game of dice
He gambled everything and paid the price
Got no remorse, got no regrets
I didn’t force him to make the bets

I cheat the monkey, I cheat the monkey, I cheat the monkey, the monkey, the giant snow monkey

But I'm nice so I gave him a chance
A job that needed an extra pair of hands
It got rough, got dirty real quick
We had to run and the Giant monkey, well I just...
I had to ditch him

I cheat the monkey, I cheat the monkey, I cheat the monkey the monkey, the giant snow monkey

Turns out the monkey came back
Got an army and lead the pack
Followed me and stole my bag
Took everything and my pirate flag
And I had to get my accordion back!

We beat the monkey, we beat the monkey, we beat the monkey
the monkey the GIANT SNOW MONKEY

“Woes of a Pirate Band”
Ol’ Big Nose

1, 2, 3, 4
The winds tore our mast and sail
The wood groaned against the sea
All hands were on deck but it was already lost
We hit ice and shipwrecked off coast

I drifted to the shores
Away from my only crew
I found hearth and home but my fellows were lost
Duh duh duh Christmas Ball!

The crash sent our Fiddler up high
I saw him sailing the sky
He landed on the frozen volcano
Where lava spurts out snow

Our harpist stayed on the ship
He locked himself in the stern
I saw an attack from a bright pink flagged ship
With masts made out of cane!

The accordionist went too
Said something about an old feud
She chased a huge monkey to an old cold cave
Said she’d be back for the ball

She’s not yet back for the ball

And duh duh. Uhm Duh
And I need you to save them….

"St. Nick in the Sky"
Drake Thunder

Crashed
And I flew
Across the sky
I felt the clouds pass my head
And thought that I
Would soon be done
And closed my eyes
And dreamed of better things to come

I heard the
Bells ring out from far
Across the skies I saw the
Deer, the sleigh, the cart
Filled with gifts and something more
The beard, the coat
Could it be Ol’ Santa Claus?
It must, who else,
But Ol’ Saint Nick

Then
I felt the wind
Upon my hands
On course to fall into a Frozen Volcano
And that was it
My life was done
I yelled and cried
But he didn’t save me

Bells rang out from far
Across the skies I saw the
Deer, the sleigh, the cart
Filled with gifts and something more
The beard, the coat
Could it be Ol’ Santa Claus?
It must, who else
But Ol’ Saint Nick

“The Christmas Ball”
Big Nose Pirate Band

Aye
I count the days
Until the end of Spring
When the waves bring the breeze of the Summer
To walk along
Upon the golden sands

Oh (Oh)
Till the winter comes (the winter comes)
I wait
For ice and snow (for ice and snow)
To dance
Upon the frosty shore (the frosty shore)
Of old
Sweet Chantey Bay (Chantey Bay)

Seasons come and go
Spring, Summer, Fall
Winter’s what I ache for
To dance the Christmas Ball

Through rain sleet or snow
I’ll steer my ship to port
I’ll run up to the hall
I’m coming to the Ball

Oh
When summer ends
The trees shed their coats
And their leaves turn brown and golden
My heart skips a beat
I know Christmas Ball’s
Around the corner.

Oh (Oh)
Till the winter comes (the winter comes)
I wait
For ice and snow (for ice and snow)
To dance
Upon the frosty shore (the frosty shore)
Of old
Sweet Chantey Bay (Chantey Bay)

Seasons come and go
Spring, Summer, Fall
Winter’s what I ache for
To dance the Christmas Ball

Through rain sleet or snow
I’ll steer my ship to port
I’ll run up to the hall
I’m coming to the Ball

ONCE AGAIN!

Seasons come and go
Spring, Summer, Fall
Winter’s what I ache for
To dance the Christmas Ball

Through high winds and rains
We’re comin’ home again
We’ll run up to the hall
We’re coming to the Ball

And a Merry Pirate Christmas to all!
